Signy went on a journey to find her animal totem. Along the way, she ended up in the Unassuming Glade and inadvertently became known as The Beast. Kay and Griffith go to the woods to find her and defeat her. She tells them about how she is looking for a beast and if she returns to her home before finding a beast, her sibling will eat her. Kay and Griffith decide to have her join their ranks.
At one point, she finds Miri, who wants to study her.
